Carl "Unc" Levandoski, age 84, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Milestone Senior Living in Eagle River. Son of Henry and Stella (Rydzewski) Levandoski, Carl was born on a cold and snowy December 20, 1930, in the family farmhouse in Three Lakes. Carl was one of three triplets.
Carl graduated from Three Lakes High School in 1948 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad for 30+ years and later retired to his native Three Lakes.
Carl enjoyed fishing, golfing, and morning walks, especially with his dear friend [living]. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Isabelle Turnquist, Jeanne Protz, Irene Levandoski, and his triplet brother, Robert Levandoski. He is survived by his triplet brother [living] of Three Lakes, nephews [living] of Three Lakes, [living] of Land O' Lakes, [living] of Juneau, AK, and niece, [living] of Deephaven, MN.
The family would like to thank Milestone and staff for the care and compassion given to Carl while he was a resident there.
Funeral services for Carl will be held on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, with a 10:30 am Mass at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Three Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior.
Carl was a wonderful brother, uncle, and friend. His smile, hearty laugh, and charismatic personality seemed to follow him wherever he went. Although Carl will be greatly missed, he will never be forgotten by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
