  Miss Irene Levandoski, 20-year-old daughter of Mrs. Henry Levandoski, died early Monday morning in the General hospital at Madison, where she had been a patient since last Saturday. Her death was caused by bronchial pneumonia, complicated by other ailments which had kept her in St Mary's hospital at Rhinelander for a month previous. Miss Levandoski was born and raised in Three Lakes, and she graduated from the high school here in 1935. She was well known in this community, and her death came as a shock to residents here. She had been working at the Dowden Medicine Lake Lodge this summer until she became ill about Aug. 15. She leaves her mother; two sisters, Isabelle and Jean; and three brothers, Jimmy, Johnny and Junior, triplets. Her father preceded her in death several years ago. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning. The body will be brought to the home here tomorrow. The Rhinelander (WI) Daily News, 27 Sep 1938 issue, p. 3, col. 7.
