  	June 15, 1912 - August 25, 2016 Pearl I. Schertz, age 104, of Tigerton passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Homme Home of Wittenberg. Pearl Isabel Schertz was born on June 15, 1912 in Tigerton to the late Frank and Nell (Jolin) Schertz. Pearl grew up on the family dairy farm where she lived for much of her life. For many years she lived with her brother, Arthur, and helped out with the farm chores. Pearl was a lifelong member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Tigerton. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Crazy Eights, and will be remembered most for her strong work ethic and her deep faith. Survivors include numerous cousins, many other relatives, and friends. Pearl is preceded in death by her brother, Arthur. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 31st at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Tigerton. Fr. Jose Castaneda will officiate and burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Tigerton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of mass at the church. The Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Tigerton, is assisting the family.
