Notes: Ed was born in 1897 in Monongah, West Virginia. He served in the Home Guard during the First World War. His niece Jeanne Protz recalls how handsome he looked in his uniform. He married Mary Motylewski of Three Lakes and moved to Loraine, Wisconsin. They later relocated to Illinois, where Ed was employed in the U.S. Steel mill in South Chicago. When he retired from the company in 1963, he moved to Superior, Wisconsin to reside with his daughter Helen and her husband, John Mizia. He died in Superior in 1969. He and Mary had two children, Helen and Edward. Edmund married Motylewski, Mary in 1921. Mary (daughter of Motylewski, John and Zagulska, Francis) was born on 21 Feb 1898 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, USA; died on 11 Oct 1954 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA; was buried in Three Lakes, Oneida, Wisconsin, USA.
