    Died:
    Louis John "Pete" Raubenheimer, 65, passed
    away June 10, 2008 after a courageous 18
    month battle with prostate cancer. Pete was
    born Sept 7, 1942 in Phoenix to Bette and
    Lou Raubenheimer. He attended North High
    School and graduated with a degree in
    business from the University of Arizona where
    he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon
    fraternity. After college he served 3 years in
    the US Army and was awarded a Bronze Star
    for his tour of duty in Vietnam. Pete spent the
    next 32 years in sales with the Lipton Food
    Company where he was highly respected for
    his business and marketing skills. After
    retiring from Lipton he became the National
    Field Coordinator for Lawry's Foods. Pete
    loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter
    and fisherman and took great joy in sharing
    his knowledge with his family, friends and coworkers.
    Always an incredibly sensitive
    gentleman, he proved daily that "chivalry is
    not dead". Pete will be enormously missed by
    his family: His wife, Daryl Ann Perlman; Stacy
    and Kevin Parker, Keegan and Hayden;
    London Raubenheimer and Gracie; Alan and
    Chani Perlman; Kari and Don Workman,
    Zachary, Alex and Halee; Michael and Susan
    Perlman; Aunt Dorothy Neely; Roxy and Don
    Fronko. Graveside services will be held Friday,
    June 13, 2008 at 10:30 am at the National
    Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek,
    Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, please donate in
    Pete's memory to Hospice of the Valley or the
    Prostate Cancer Foundation.
