    Arlin Henry Jolin, age 83 of Rhinelander, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born in Sugar Camp, WI on April 16, 1938 to Martin and Muriel(Curtis) Jolin. Arlin attended schools in both Sugar Camp and Green Bay, after his schooling he entered the US Army in 1963 and was deployed to Germany. Arlin was married to Sandra(Fuchs) Jolin on August 22, 1975 in Arlington, VA.

    Arlin enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino, traveling across the country, cruises, but his joy in life was always the nine days in late November for the Wisconsin gun deer season. He would never miss that week of deer season with the guys at his cabin in Sugar Camp. Arlin was a man of kindness and generosity that always was looking to help anyone who needed it, he gave and never asked for anything in return. If someone needed help he was always willing to give them as much help as they needed, and that went for their children too. Arlin enjoyed many things but he loved his family and the Lord, he will be dearly missed by all.

    Arlin is survived by his wife Sandra Jolin, daughters Rebecca(James)Wanty of Lake Tomahawk, Wendy(Ronald)Evenson, and Renea Jolin both of Rhinelander, grandchildren Todd, Brandon, Austin, Dakota, Kaitlynn, Joseph, Amber, Adam, Cassandra, Hailey, his beloved dog Max, other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Rayona Lorbetske, Ardis Couillard, brothers Verl, Lyle, Ervan, and Delbert Jolin.

    A funeral service for Arlin will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Grove Community Church in Rhinelander with pastor Jeremy Vander Galien officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until just prior to the service on Wednesday. Entombment will be held on Thursday June 10, 2021 at the Lakeview Memorial Park Mausoleum in Oshkosh, WI. You may leave your private condolences for the Jolin family at www.carlsonfh.com. The Carlson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.

    Henry M. Jolin, Once Resident of Sugar Camp, Dies
    Henry M. Jolin, 82, a former resident of the town of Sugar Camp, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in St. Mary's hospital. He had been making his home with a sister, Mrs. Josephine Almstead, 657 West Davenport street.
    Born in Vermont on March 20, 1859, Mr. Jolin came to Wisconsin more than 50 years ago. He previously lived in Tigerton. For 18 years he made his home with his sons, Martin and Charles, in the town of Sugar Camp, but he came to Rhinelander to live a short time ago.
    Survivors are his two sons, Martin and Charles, both of Sugar Camp; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Schirtz and Mrs. Elizabeth Solzman, both of Tigerton; five sisters, Mrs. Josephine Almstead and Mrs. Merritt McLaughlin, both of Rhinelander, Mrs. Margaret Commers of Milwaukee, Mrs. Lucille Ward of Antigo and Mrs. Emma Plopper of Hammond, Ind.; and two brothers, Albert Jolin of Rhinelander and Ed Jolin of Tigerton.
    His wife died 23 years ago in Tigerton, and one daughter also preceded him in death.
    The body will lie in state in the Hildebrand funeral home from late this afternoon until tomorrow noon, when it will be taken to Tigerton. Funeral services will be held in Tigerton Friday morning, and burial will be made in a cemetery there.

    MRS. HENRY JOLIN
    Mrs. Henry Jolin of the Town of Fairbanks died at her home last Thursday following a stroke of apoplexy. Her last illness was of short duration and up to a week previous to her death she had enjoyed her usual good health. She was sixty-two years of age at death.
    She leaves to mourn her departure from this life a husband, three daughters, Mrs. William Nichols, Robbins, Wis.; Mrs. Frank Schertz and Mrs. Louis Salzman of Tigerton; and two sons, Martin and Charles. The latter son has just returned from military service and had been at home for only a short time previous to his mother's last illness.
    The funeral was held Monday morning at ten o'clock from St. Anthonys Church. A large number of the friends were present at the funeral ceremony to pay their last respects to the departed woman. The pallbearers were Aloys Riendl, Niel Cannon, John Hoffman, T. M. Hafner, Math. Schuh and William Way. Interment was made at Union Cemetery.
