    Irma L. Pitlik, age 87, of Eagle River, formerly of Sugar Camp, died on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013. She was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Eagle River, the daughter of John and Anna (Wiebe) Spiess.

    Irma was raised on a farm and attended schools in Eagle River. On Oct. 11, 1945 she was married to Joseph Pitlik in Sugar Camp. It was there that she enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. Irma enjoyed gardening, crafts and bird watching, particularly hummingbirds and she truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    Irma is survived by her daughters, JoRene (Jim Vales) Youngman of Eagle River, Cathy (Frank) Sullivan of Sugar Camp, Jenelle (Jerry) Ninko of Conover and Denise (Jeff) Johnson of Appleton; brother, Walter (Shirley) Spiess of Eagle River; sister, Doris (Steve) Silber of Eagle River; sister-in-law, Margaret Spiess; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1981; brothers, Rudy, Arthur, Herman and Charles Spiess; and son-in-law, Charles Youngman.

    Irma married PITLIK, JOSEPH R on 11 Oct 1945 in Sugar Camp, Oneida, Wisconsin, USA. JOSEPH (son of PITLIK, Joseph J or Pytlik and Stefonick, Rena Albinia) was born in 1926 in Sugar Camp, Oneida, Wisconsin, USA; died in Aug 1981 in Eagle River, Vilas, Wisconsin, USA; was buried in Sugar Camp, Oneida, Wisconsin, USA.
