Website - This project continues to be a work in progress. d. Oral History project - Noreen, Irene - Irene reported that 20 people expressed interest in participating. Two oral histories are completed and 5 are pending, meaning the packets have been sent to them. Of the 5 pending, 2 follow up notes have been mailed. Three others will receive follow-up notes this week. There have been 2 new leads and packets will be sent to them soon. Irene agreed to email Beth this information to make sure the above information is accurate because there were connectivity issues. :) Nancy Brewster reported that TLGS still has $25.98 left on a gift card. She proposed that this money be available to the Oral History group to cover the cost of office supplies, postage, etc. In addition, Nancy proposed setting aside an additional $25 in 2021, for the same reason. The group agreed with this proposal by a unanimous vote. e. Other business Ð ? Nancy Brewster explained that the new TLGS email account that was set up through the Demmer Library had been phished. The account is receiving SPAM emails. She has deleted the SPAM emails received thus far. She will ask Erica to change the password to help eliminate the issue. Nancy Brewster also suggested that the email account be managed by one person to safeguard against someone opening something that shouldnÕt be opened. Nancy Brewster agreed to be that person. ? Marie found the lost video tapes and CD of the oral histories done by BethÕs students. THANKS MARIE! Erica has been thinking about taking the CD and transferring it to a private YouTube format. The oral histories could then stay there until our group decides what to do with them. ? Marie asked if we had received her email with the video link about linking one place studies to genealogy work. Nancy Bailey and Beth have received it. Marie cautioned that the video needs to be viewed soon because it will go away after about 5 days. She, however, has access to it longer than that. Marie sent the link for the video to Nancy Brewster and Mari Lynn so they could view the video. ? Christmas Party - THE NEW DATE FOR THE TLGS VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY WILL BE DECEMBER 7, 2020 AT NOON.
