The online secretary's report was accepted and approved.

The Treasurer reported. $200 deposit was given to the Reiter Center.

Old Business
April 23, several members will be driving to Wausau to research at the Family History Center. This will replace a meeting at the Reiter Center. Family History Consultants will be available to assist everyone. Contact Irene Farkas for more information.

New Business
Driving to Madison June 12-14 to research at the Historical Society was discussed. It is a 4-hour drive. If staying overnight, where would we stay? How many nights? These and other questions yet to be answered. Contact Debby with your suggestions.

Robert Bailey distributed and explained how to use the Permanent Perpetual Reference Calendar.
This calendar will tell you the day of a birth/event between the years 1600 and 3900 AD.

The June meeting will be presented by Roger and Barbie Blocks. They will explain how to begin genealogy research using information related to Barbie's family.

Robert Bailey led a discussion on ÒWriting Your BookÓ providing a number of books he has written as examples. Other members explained how they plan to write their family history. We learned that there is no one way to write a book. Whatever method you choose is the best way.
