Three Lakes Genealogical Society Minutes Đ May 18, 2015 Members Present: Les Anderson, Bob and Nancy Bailey, Roger Blocks, Nancy Brewster, Irene Farkas, Robert E. Killick, and Donna Mather Guest Present: Elmer A. Goetsch President Roger Blocks called the meeting to order at 1:04 p.m. Secretary Nancy Bailey presented the minutes from April 27, 2015. The minutes were approved as printed. Treasurer Robert Bailey presented the TreasurerŐs Report. It was accepted by the members. Old Business Ą The need for brochures was discussed. Ą The members approved by consensus to pay the 2015 donation ($100) to Three Lakes Public Library Foundation for the new library. New Business Ą Regarding the Obituary Project, Irene Farkas discussed possible expenses and the need to write grants to offset the expenses. Bob Bailey moved to Ňset up a grant committee to help Irene.Ó The motion passed unanimously. Les Anderson and Bob Bailey updated the members on the Obituary Project. The Obituary Project volunteers have completed eleven years, including almost 3900 obituaries. Ą Nancy Brewster participated in the WXPR genealogy project. She was interviewed, and a portion of that was on the radio. Members are encouraged to participate in this project. The meeting was adjourned at 1:35. Elmer Goetsch presented the program. It was about his ancestors who came from Pomerania in Germany. Next meeting: Monday, June 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Demmer Memorial Library.
